Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our dog walking services below.
What's your cancelation policy?
I ask for 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a walk. This helps me keep my schedule organized and give other pups a chance for some outdoor fun.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, I may charge 50% of the walk. Emergencies happen, though, so if your dog is sick or something unexpected comes up, I’ll work with you.
…but if you cancel, you’ll have to explain to your dog why they didn’t get their daily adventure — good luck with that!
What happens in bad weather?
I love bad weather! Rain, wind, or even a little snow won’t stop me from getting your pup outside. Safety always comes first, of course — if things are truly unsafe, I’ll adjust the walk, stick to covered areas, or bring the adventure indoors with extra playtime.
Your dog still gets exercise, fresh air, and plenty of fun — just maybe a little soggier than usual!
Do you offer a meet-and-greet before starting?
Absolutely! I always start with a meet-and-greet so I can get to know you and your dog before the first walk. It’s a great chance for your pup to sniff me out, for you to ask questions, and for me to recommend the best routine and pace for your dog.
What areas do you serve?
I provide dog walking services in Gresham, surrounding cities like Troutdale, Fairview, and Happy Valley, and select outer Portland neighborhoods, including Lents, Powellhurst-Gilbert, and Montavilla. If you’re not sure whether your address falls within my service area, just reach out — I’m happy to chat and see if I can make it work!
